Before your first spin
Two things to do. First, set the bet to the lowest amount. Second, open the paytable from the game menu and look at the animals with that bet selected. The values you see there are the real ones for your stake. Everything in this guide explains how to read them, but the in-game table is always the final word on amounts.
It'll take a minute. That minute saves you from the most common beginner confusion, which is not knowing why one line of animals paid ₹1 and another paid ₹30.
The basic rules
You set a bet and spin. When the reels stop, the game checks each active payline. A win happens when the same animal lands in a run along a line, starting from the leftmost reel. The longer the run and the higher the animal's value, the bigger the win. Wins on different lines in the same spin are added together.
A run that starts on reel two doesn't count. Three lions on reels two, three and four look great, but if reel one on that line shows a zebra, the line pays nothing. Most people learn this the hard way in their first ten spins, so now you won't.
Animal values explained
Think of the symbols in three bands.
Bottom band: the everyday sightings
The safari jeep, the zebra and the lower animals. They land often and pay small amounts. On most spins where something pays, it'll be one of these.
Top band: the big game
The lion and the elephant are the premium regular symbols, with the rhino close by. Lines of these pay noticeably more, and they're the ones worth watching for on the reels.
Special band: wild, scatter and wildebeest
The wild substitutes for regular animals to complete lines. The scatter pays from anywhere and, with three or more, triggers the free spins. And the wildebeest is tied to the game's jackpot: landing enough of them in a single spin is the rarest and richest result.
| Band | Symbols | Job |
|---|---|---|
| Low | Safari jeep, zebra, lower animals | Frequent small wins |
| High | Lion, elephant, rhino | Bigger line wins, less frequent |
| Wild | Wild animal symbol | Stands in for regular animals |
| Scatter | Scatter symbol | Pays anywhere, 3+ start free spins |
| Jackpot | Wildebeest | Enough in one spin wins the jackpot |
Reading a spin: a worked example
Imaginary numbers again, just to show the method. You're betting ₹2 a spin with ₹150 in the balance.
- Top line: jeep, jeep, jeep, lion. Three jeeps from the left, then the run breaks. Small win, say ₹1.
- Middle line: elephant, wild, elephant, zebra. The wild counts as an elephant, so it's three elephants from the left. Better win, say ₹8.
- Bottom line: zebra, rhino, rhino, rhino. Starts with a zebra and only one zebra, so no win, even with three rhinos sitting there.
- Two scatters elsewhere on the reels. Not enough for the bonus.
Total win: ₹9. Stake: ₹2. Net change: +₹7. New balance: ₹157. A good spin. The next twenty will mostly look far less exciting.
Big-Game Free Spins and locking wilds
Land three or more scatters on one spin and the Big-Game Free Spins start. These spins don't take a stake. The special thing about this round is that wild animal symbols can lock in place. Once a wild locks, it stays on that position for the following free spins instead of spinning away, so it can help complete lines again and again.
Here's how that plays out, step by step (illustrative):
- Free spin 1. A wild lands on reel two, middle row, and locks. The spin pays a small jeep line.
- Free spin 2. The locked wild is still there. Reel one shows a lion in the middle and reel three shows a lion too. Wild counts as lion. Three lions from the left, a proper win.
- Free spin 3. A second wild locks on reel three, top row. Now two positions are helping.
- Free spins 4 onward. Every spin gets a head start from the locked wilds. Some pay, some don't. The round ends when the free spins run out.
That's why this feature holds many of the larger Safari of Wealth wins. It's also random from start to finish. You can't trigger it on purpose, and some rounds lock a wild in a spot that never quite lines up with anything useful.
Glossary
| Term | Meaning |

Mistakes that are easy to make
- Counting runs that don't start on reel one. The bottom line in our example is the classic case.
- Getting excited over one or two wildebeest. The jackpot needs enough of them in the same spin.
- Staking big because the game "feels calm". Gentle pace doesn't mean low risk. Losses just arrive more quietly.
- Chasing the free spins. Two scatters doesn't mean the third is near.
- Not tracking the net result. A string of ₹1 wins on a ₹2 stake is a string of losses.
A beginner's practice plan
Session one, "spot the animal". Lowest stake, welcome bonus only. For each spin, name the highest-value animal that paid, if any. After a while you'll recognise a good spin at a glance.
Session two, "net, not gross". Write your balance down every ten spins. Ignore the win counter and look only at the balance. This teaches you how the game really moves.
Session three, "limits". Choose a budget, a stop-loss and a cash-out target. Keep the stake flat the whole time. Stop the moment either limit is reached.
