The Basic Rules
Each race has a field of several horses. Before the race starts, every horse gets odds that reflect how likely the game rates its chances. You pick a horse, pick a bet type, enter a stake and confirm before the off. Once the race begins, betting closes.
The race runs, the horses cross the line in some order, and bets are settled on that finishing order. If your bet's condition is met, you get paid your stake multiplied by the odds. If it isn't, you lose the stake. That's it.
Every race is generated independently. Nothing carries over from one race to the next, not the winner, not the order, not the "form".
Bet Types You'll Use
Win
Your horse has to finish first. Nothing else counts. Second by a nose is still a loss. It pays the full odds on that horse, so it's the higher-paying option.
Place
Your horse needs to finish within the top few positions. How many places count is set by the game, so check it on screen. Because more finishing spots count as a win, Place bets land more often than Win bets. The price you pay for that is a smaller return.
You may see other markets in the game from time to time. Our advice is to stick with Win and Place until you're comfortable, and only look at the others once you understand exactly what they need to pay out.
How the Payout Is Worked Out
The formula is simple: stake multiplied by odds. The numbers below are made up to show the method. The real odds will be on your screen for each race.
| Horse | Example odds | Stake | Paid back if it wins |
|---|---|---|---|
| The favourite | 1.8 | ₹50 | ₹90 |
| A mid-field runner | 4.0 | ₹50 | ₹200 |
| The long shot | 10.0 | ₹50 | ₹500 |
Look at the first row. You risk ₹50 to get ₹90 back, so the actual profit is only ₹40. People often forget that the payout includes their own stake. With the long shot, ₹500 looks exciting, but the odds are telling you it's expected to lose most of the time. High odds are a warning as much as an invitation.
A Full Race, Start to Finish
- Look at the field. You open the next race. Say there are six horses. Two are priced short, three sit in the middle, one is a big outsider.
- Choose the bet type. You go with Place, since you're still learning.
- Choose the horse. You pick one of the middle horses. Not the obvious favourite, not a wild guess either.
- Enter the stake. ₹20. You confirm and the amount comes off your balance.
- Watch. The gates open. Your horse starts slowly, moves up on the bend and crosses the line third.
- Settle. If third is inside the paying places for that race, your Place bet wins and the return comes to your balance. If the game only pays the top two, it's a loss. This is exactly why you check the place terms first.

| Stake | The amount you put on your selection. |

Mistakes That Cost the Most
Only backing outsiders. It feels clever to aim for the ₹500 return. But a string of losing long shots adds up faster than one win pays back.
Betting on every race. Races are short, so it's tempting to bet on each one as it comes. You don't have to. Watching a few without money on them is free and helps you keep a clear head.
Raising the stake to win back a loss. Lost ₹50? So you put ₹100 on the next one. Then ₹200. This is the pattern behind most bad nights in any betting game.
Believing in streaks. A horse that has lost five races in a row is not about to win. Each race is fresh.
A Beginner's Practice Plan
Here's a gentle way to learn over a week.
- First sessions: watch three or four races without betting. Just see how the odds line up and who tends to finish where.
- Next: Place bets only, at the smallest stake the game allows. Aim for ten races, then stop regardless of the result.
- After that: try the odd Win bet on a favourite or mid-field horse. Keep the same stake size.
- Every session: set a limit before you start, and if you hit it, close the app. Don't top up to keep going.
The same budgeting ideas apply across all the games in the app. The Teen Patti strategy guide has a good section on managing a bankroll that works just as well here.
Know the Limits
This is a real-money game for adults 18 and above. Results are random, and no reading of the odds will let you predict a race.
